Developed from December 2019 to April 2020, this full stack web application consists of React - Typescript on the frontend and Express - Typescript on the backend. It features user authentication as well as authentication with Google & Facebook, integration with the Twitter API, plans & subscription management with Stripe. It’s a modern Progressive Web App (PWA) and the UI consists of material elements provided by the Material-UI framework. The backend API (Express – NodeJS) was built by Dimitris Kargatzis.

Architecture

TypeScript runs on both sides, React on the frontend and Express on the backend (built by Dimitris Kargatzis), so the team works in one language from the UI down to the API. Sign-in with Google and Facebook spares users another password, the Twitter integration runs on the backend, and Stripe handles plans and subscriptions instead of custom billing code. Material-UI gave a consistent set of components to build the dashboard from.
