# I've put together my dream workspace

> This year I put money into a new workspace. After the chair in April, the rest was the Secretlab riser and arms, a 34-inch Philips Evnia, a portrait UPerfect, and a Nanoleaf light bar.

This year I decided to invest in a new workspace. You have probably already read about the [Hinomi H2 Pro](https://eu.hinomi.co/products/hinomi-h2-pro-ergonomic-office-chair-with-footrest) in [the April post](https://www.dimeloper.com/blog/hinomi-h2-pro/), and now it was time to assemble the rest.

The desk is a [Secretlab MAGNUS Pro](https://secretlab.eu/products/magnus-pro). I had the drill out for it the same afternoon the chair came out of the box. On top of that sits the [MAGNUS Pro desk riser](https://secretlab.eu/products/magnus-desk-riser), also from Secretlab, which gives the monitors that extra elevation.

The [dual monitor arms](https://secretlab.eu/products/magnus-monitor-arm) are Secretlab as well. Heavy, precise, smooth motion. They keep the monitor cables hidden in the arms, which is the part of cable management I actually finished.

## The screens

The main display is a [Philips Evnia](https://www.philips.de/c-p/34M2C8600_00/evnia-curved-gaming-monitor-qd-oled-gaming-monitor): 34 inches, curved ultrawide, QD-OLED at 175 hertz, with built-in ambience lighting. This thing is unreal. That is the window I write and review in. One wide surface instead of two matching rectangles fighting for the middle of the desk.

On the left, a 24-inch [UPerfect](https://uperfect.com/) mounted vertically. That one is for [Slack](https://slack.com/), docs, and long terminal logs.

The [MacBook](https://www.apple.com/macbook-pro/) sits on a stand on the right as a third screen. A yellow Pokémon lives on the riser.

## The lights

A [Nanoleaf](https://nanoleaf.me/en-us/products/nanoleaf-floor-lamp) vertical light bar, because every dream workspace needs the right vibe. It changes colour through the day and syncs with the desk's built-in light bar in the cable management.

## The short

If you want to see it go together, the short is on [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/@the_developer_show).

<div style="max-width: 340px; margin: 2rem auto;">

	</div>
</div>

Workspace complete. Ready for the next year of software building.

Can you guess the cost of the entire workspace?

Cheers! 🍺
